The above analyses prompt me to an intuition of Oneness: Our
"Self", our identity, is partly based on self-determination (building
on truths and principles of the reason) and partly on heteronomy (building on
error and usurpation). Therefore the self-determined share of the identity is independent
of space and time and thus universal, whereas the heteronomy-based share is
transitory. The self-determined share of our "Self" finds its self in
a "you" with similar identity independently of space and time. (28) Finding myself in a "you" but also becoming
one with nature means I am imperishable. By recognizing and respecting the laws
of nature and their interaction I also absorb imperishable principles. (29) This finding of oneself is a question of
degree, as with free will and consciousness.
Nature and all living organisms in our world have produced
us human beings and made human life possible; therefore we should respect our
environment. It is a part of our selves.
